Bucks Fever Advisory Council 

The Advisory Council’s main responsibility is development of the annual Bucks Fever Patron & Member Reception, a celebration designed to recognize all Bucks Fever patrons.


Artists Studio Tour

Artists Studio Tour 2005

Sunday, May 15, 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Do you enjoy meeting and talking to artists, one-on-one, about their work, in their unique studios, surrounded by their work? Do you love to spend a Sunday afternoon in the spring driving through the backroads and landscapes of Bucks County, stopping for brunch, lunch or dinner at a Bucks County restaurant?

If the answer to these questions is yes, you will want to take the self-guided Artists’ Studio Tour, coming Sunday, May 15, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This event is part of the Bucks Fever program, celebrating the arts in Bucks County.

Tickets are $15 per person. For further information about obtaining tickets, ticket sales locations and participating restaurants call the Chamber at 215-348-3913.

The Studio Tour will comprise a circuit reaching from Riegelsville down along the river and inland to Pineville, to visit five studios of six artists.

The Artists Studio Tour, a Bucks Fever program of the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce, is supported by sponsors Graphic Energiez,  Mixed Media, Michelyn Gallery and Radclyffe Gallery & Framing.

Brown Bag-It with the Arts
Crowds gather on the Bucks County courthouse lawn to prepare for a summer Brown Bag-It with the Arts performance 
  
For over a quarter of century the Chamber program, Brown Bag-It with the Arts has brought lively performances to the center of Doylestown. Brown Bag-It with the Arts, sponsored by PNC Bank, with special courtesies from the Bucks County Court System, brings free one-hour performances to the lawn of the Bucks County Courthouse.

Byers Annual Art Exhibition

 

The Byers Art Exhibition is responsible for development, planning and creation of the annual Art Exhibit, each year, focusing on a significant aspect of Bucks County art. The event is one of the Bucks Fever celebration anchor events, continuously held since 1986.

Bucks Fever Development Committee

The Bucks Fever Development Committee is vital to the continued growth of Bucks Fever, the Chamber’s annual celebration of the arts, history, culture and festivals of Bucks County. The committee supports the Chamber in spreading the word to the business community about the benefits of serving as a Bucks Fever patron. All Bucks Fever events and programs are wholly dependent on community donations. The program is designed to maintain the renown of Central Bucks County for being a quality community, resplendent with arts and culture.


 
Filmfest

The Filmfest Committee was established in 2000 as a response to the interest in film and filmmaking in the creative Bucks County community. The committee offers an annual juried independent short film and video festival.

Bucks Country Sculpture Show

The Bucks County Sculpture Show Founded by Dr. Selma Burke is developed and planned by the Sculpture Show Committee. The show, established over a quarter of a century ago, is sponsored by The Lomax Companies of Chalfont, Bucks County. The juried show is one of the only juried shows in the region devoted exclusively to three-dimensional art.

The Lomax family (The Lomax Companies) serves as sponsor of the Bucks County Sculpture Show Founded by Dr. Selma Burke.
