Gourmet Getaway

This event is held each spring and is our major fundraiser for our scholarships. Local restaurants provide samples of their specialties to enjoy with wine from area wineries. Raffle donations provide a plethora of goodies to be awarded to ticket winners. Funds raised from this event, which have averaged $20,000 in recent years, go to local women who would like to further their education but do not have the funds to do so.

Scholarship

Decides the awardees of the funds from the Gourmet Getaway. Members of this committee meet with potential scholarship winners to review their situation and decide who most needs the funds to further their education.

April 4 by 5 PM all members on our committee need to call or e-mail their choices to Marsha or Jenn so we can notify the ladies who are the recipients of scholarships so they can make arrangements to attend the interview

Patricia Clatch Outstanding Woman in Business Award

This award was established in memory of Patricia Clatch. Pat, an active Chamber member for 10 years, was an advocate for women in business and supported the endeavors of women to gain acceptance and recognition in the business world. This award is chosen by this subcommittee from a pool of nominations.

Awards Dinner

This dinner is held each spring to recognize the scholarship winners and that year's recipient of the Patricia Clatch Award. This subcommittee is responsible for organizing the event, including finding a worthy speaker.

Network Support & Program

Solicits and organizes speakers to present 15 to 20 minute programs for the regular monthly WIB meetings, utilizing Chamber members whenever possible. Also organizes off-site meeting locations.
